Educated in London and Berkeley, Ross worked five years for leading European sports publication “Sport-Express” as their UK Correspondent. He reported on English Barclays Premiership, UEFA Champions League and International Football, as well as F1, Boxing and other top class sporting events for an international audience, interviewing Jose Mourinho, John Terry, Ricky Hatton, David Coulthard and others.
During this period he also found the time to develop his production skills, working on several short films and music promos with Kirkwall’s now head of production Edward Tull.
Reporting to the BBC during the 2008 March uprising in Tibet, Ross traveled to Pakistan and worked with a local Pakistani film crew to cover the highest altitude Polo match in the world at Shandur Pass.
Arriving in Australia at the start of 2009, he was part of the Live Broadcast production team for the world famous “Tropfest” short film festival in Sydney.
He then worked with the prominent Sydney-based script developer and film producer Karel Segers as well as working in corporate promo production.
Returning home to London, Ross produced BBC favourite King Charles’ most recent music promo for Kirkwall. He followed this up by producing a music promo for upcoming musician Bishi, who recently performed on the Jonathon Ross show.
Ross has also just completed work with on a corporate video promoting Gok Wan’s latest product range for Boots.
