Bopa is an international VJ from Sweden. A unique and original talent, Bopa brings a fresh creative approach to music promos, born of her fascination with the combination of music and the art of the moving image. In her work she uses a mixture of graphics, film and photography with audio waves as her inspiration.
Bopa has created bespoke visuals for numerous bands such as The Streets, Tunng and Rotating Leslie. She has performed as an individual artist at high profile events such as Glastonbury, Global Gathering and Big Chill.
In 2007, she founded the audio/visual collective Ne1co, voted at number 6 in DJ Mag’s poll of the world’s top 20 VJs 2007. Bopa’s inauguration into the world of music promos came with her debut video for Rotating Leslie’s track, Fire! Fire!
