Adam is a prolific talent. His directing career began under the collaborative pseudonym BINg with a promo for Art Punk band Ikara Colt. The video’s distinctive and original style caught the attention of Mark E Smith and BINg were soon commissioned to direct a promo for “Theme from Sparta FC” for post-punk legends The Fall. It was a video that won Adam instant recognition as an emerging promos director. So Adam decided to go it alone, and videos followed for Vics N Trix, Untitled Musical Project, Chow Chow, and Turkish superstar Eylem. More recently Adam directed a promo for The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster’s “In the Garden.” Following this video, an excellent combination of performance, animation and effects wizardry, Adam was commissioned to direct “Mermaids and Slaves” for Paul Heaton (formerly of The Beautiful South). Adam is a multi-talented director with promo credits spanning a range of musical styles and genres. His reel reflects a diverse and eclectic approach that combines live action photography, animation, and effects work to create his own distinctive brand of authorship.
